Here is a unique opportunity to actively participate in the crewing of high performance racing yachts that have completed many round the world trips.
The boats used for this exhilarating day are Whitbread Maxis, with experienced professional crews to look after your every need and help encourage you if there is a desire to sail the boat yourself.
Each boat is fully licensed to carry 12, 16 or 20 passengers and bookings can be taken for 12, 16 or 20 for sole use and a minimum of 2 on shared charters.
We can also offer a variety of other racing yachts from 40ft to 65ft depending on your requirements.
Whitbread Maxi
The Whitbread Maxi was winner of her class in the 1989/90 Whitbread Maxi series.
This impressive vessel is 82 feet long, weighs around 58 tonnes, and when under sail is capable of speeds of up to 14 knots.
Ocean Racing Yachts
With an overall length of 65ft these superb modern ocean racing yachts were designed and built to race around the world with an open cockpit, they have ample space for entertaining and they can be sailed competitively by amateurs.

The awesome thrust of 600bhp powerboat is at the heart of this event.
In the Marina, a quarter of a million pounds worth of Sunseeker Hawk powerboat awaits.
Under the expert guidance of our skipper you get the chance to unleash the 600 brake horsepower of this awesome machine on the open waters of The Solent.
Flying from wave to wave, the pressure is on for you to complete a variety of challenging objectives against the clock.
Each boat is fully licensed to carry 8 passengers.
Bespoke events based around the Sunseeker can be developed such as a Land, Sea and Air challenge incorporating a driving activity, a trip in a Jet Ranger Helicopter and the hands-on experience aboard the Sunseeker Hawk Powerboats in the search for The SS Defiant!
